tight bottom game

At like six on Saturday morning I was still at Robbie’s birthday party, sitting on the back porch chatting to Kieren. The dancefloor was almost empty so these two young women decided to use part of it for a friendly little wrestle. I said to Kieren, joking, “This makes me want to coach them.” Anyway, I thought I was joking. But then I started involuntarily yelling advice at them - in the middle of a sentence I would suddenly yell out “yes, hips out!” or “hooks, hooks!” like I had grappling tourettes or whatever.

After a little bit of this I couldn’t stand their sloppy technique anymore. One of them had kind of climbed on the other’s back and I walked over to where they could actually hear me, crouched down beside them, and told the one on the bottom, “Grab the back of her head with both hands.” It would have been the simplest reversal, she could have gotten right on top that way. Instead, of course, they both just looked at me like they didn’t understand why some random weirdo was interrupting them. Right about then I realised it was time to go home.
